Three Programs Achieved National Program Accreditation

Initiative idea

Enhancing the university’s portfolio of academic program accreditations across all colleges.

Initiative Objectives

Increasing the number of academic programs that obtain national academic accreditation.

Importance of the Initiative

  1. In alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, the Ministry of Education’s ambitious “Afaq” vision for higher education, and King Faisal University’s Strategic Plan 2020–2024.
  2. Academic accreditations are a vital means of establishing and strengthening King Faisal University’s reputation at both the institutional and programmatic levels, nationally and internationally. They serve to motivate prospective students and partners to engage with the university and act as an effective tool to elevate and sustain the quality of higher education.
  3. Meeting national and international institutional and programmatic quality standards reinforces a culture of quality and continuous improvement. This has a significant impact on building trust in program outcomes, aligning them with the Kingdom’s development initiatives and labor market needs, and enhancing the university’s reputation and standing among stakeholders and beneficiaries.
